Ken has been texting updates on a daily basis. Here’s the summary of progress over last week.
Arrived Lands End on Tuesday @ 0120. Photos @ 0730 and off to launceston – 92.89 miles with 43.5 mph! Wednesday start @ 0800 and end in cross (Cheddar Gorge) with 100.49 miles + max 40.5 mph. Thursday left @ 0745 + arrived Leominster 1630 after 100.75 miles + max 43.6 mph. Left 0745 this am and hope 2 be in Whitchurch 2night but raining now so slower progress.

Update. Friday left Leominster @ 0715 and came up via Ludlow and Shrewsbury to Whitchurch and finally to Warrington. Strong headwind and arrived @ 1620. Total 93.22 miles + 36.6 mph. Half way there – next big hill is Shap!

Update: finished at Warrington on Friday @ 1620 after 93.2 miles and 36.6 mph. Went home that night and came back Sat and did 33.38 miles and 31.8 mph to Brindle for meet with friends in the Cavendish Pub. More later! Ken
